Last night was Logan and Spencer's Spring Band Concert. They combined the Middle School and the Jr. High for the concert. Both boys play the trumpet. This is Logan's third year of band and Spencer's first year. It was a fun concert! Logan's band played a medley of "Looney Tunes" songs and the conductor wore rabbit ears and chewed on a carrot. His band also played James Bond movie songs and the band all wore black sunglasses while a spy was sneaking around the band while they played. Another band played Pirates of the Caribbean songs and wore black pirate bandannas. Spencer's band played a song called "Bryce Canyon Overture", inspired by Bryce Canyon in Utah, (obviously). Spencer thought that was pretty cool. They all did a good job. They are both planning on doing marching band this summer. This includes 7:00 a.m. practice. Hmmmm....will they keep that up? We shall see!
Makayla was the photographer of the concert pictures and wanted me to include them in this blog. "Why was she the photographer?", you may be thinking. Well....she was REALLY bored and whinny and needed something to do. I'm sure you can understand what I mean! If you look really close at the pictures, you will still not be able to see either of the boys. Oh well!
